still kicking

i'm writing again, back to the routine. i think this break of a week or so has been good for me. maybe i'll do it once every couple months to clear my mind. take a week off, dissappear, recharge.

i'm fully recovered but when i went back to the doctor yesterday it turns out my symptoms since i last saw him didn't match up to what he originally thought.

so i'm not sure if going to him and getting medication etc, had any effect at all. peace of mind? after around $130 (even with the good insurance i have) i'm not sure.

after i told him what had happened this is how the exchange went:

"that's impossible"
"really? then what the hell was it?"
he shrugged. "who knows."

maybe i need a new specialist....
